Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof, Steigenberger Hotel Der Sonnenhof Bad Wörishofen and Steigenberger Parkhotel Düsseldorf all achieve top ten positions in individual categories

The “101 Best Hotels in Germany” Awards, the only ranking list of its kind to combine objective quality benchmarks with individual customer satisfaction perceptions, have just been published for the second time. Six Steigenberger Hotels are confirmed as being amongst the leading lights of the German hotel sector. In the individual “Grand Hotel” category, the Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof and the Steigenberger Parkhotel Düsseldorf were placed sixth and ninth respectively. The Steigenberger Hotel Der Sonnenhof Bad Wörishofen was also named as one of the country’s top ten “Health Resorts”, a classification in which it finished eighth. The Steigenberger Grandhotel Handelshof came eleventh in the “Grand Hotel” section and thus only just missed out on a top ten spot. The other award-winning hotels were amongst the top 30 in the “City Hotels” category. The Steigenberger Graf Zeppelin Stuttgart reached 23rd position in this grouping whilst the Steigenberger Hotel Hamburg was 28th.

“We are very proud and happy that six of our hotels are part of this exclusive ranking list and that three have even entered the top ten in their own particular categories,” said Marcus Bernhardt, CEO of H World International. “Every single member of staff gives their utmost every single day in order to ensure that the very highest standards of service and quality are met and that our guests enjoy a special stay. We are most grateful for the positive feedback. This motivates us to keep doing our best.”

The “101 Best Hotels in Germany” Awards were launched last year. They are sponsored by the Institute for Service and Leadership Excellence in conjunction with various prestigious partners. Experts from the International University of Applied Sciences (IU) carry out the statistical evaluations. The ranking list is informed by results from online portals such as Booking.com and by performance in a hotel test based on ten quality criteria. The idea is the brainchild of Carsten K. Rath, who runs a firm called Passion for Excellence AG.
