IntercityHotel awarded for outstanding service for the third time in a row

Another top-class service performance: For the third time in a row, IntercityHotel was the winner of Germany's largest ranking for customer service and has again received a “Service Champions Gold” Award. In the annual customer survey "Service Champions Germany", the Deutsche Hospitality brand achieved a “Service Experience Score” of 68.8 and ranked first with a 1.2 percentage point lead.

"The Service Champion Gold is a great accolade for all employees", says Christian Kaschner, Managing Director of IntercityHotel GmbH. "IntercityHotel represents modern, sustainable city hotels designed by Matteo Thun. In addition, we are also providing digital services to our guests: By using the IntercityHotel-App, many services can be provided completely digitally if required. A virtual concierge offers information about the restaurant and sporting activities as well as real-time information on public transport. The FreeCity ticket allows all guests to use local public transport free of charge."

The “Service Champion” Awards were jointly initiated by the analysis company Service Value GmbH, the Goethe University of Frankfurt am Main and the newspaper DIE WELT. Rankings are arrived at by asking over 1.9 million customers for feedback on 4,053 companies in 384 sectors. The Service Experience Score (SES) is an efficient measurement instrument for converting customer satisfaction with the service they believe they have received into a specific numeric value. The SES is able to guarantee the comparability of customer verdicts because it operates independently of sectors and business models.
