Steigenberger comes out on top in the 2020/2021 Top Service Quality Awards
A further accolade for the highest level of service quality / first place in the service rankings issued by Statista and TESTBILD / Safe Travels successfully introduced
The independent “2020/2021 Top Service Quality” rankings have found that Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts offer the best service of any hotel brand in the premium segment in Germany. The “Top Service Quality” scheme is run by the statistics portal “Statista” and the online consumer site TESTBILD. This is the fifth year that seals of quality have been awarded to companies across a wide range of sectors which have gained the edge over their competitors by delivering an outstanding level of service. The Deutsche Hospitality brand Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts has achieved top spot in the rankings and has thus emerged as Service Winner for 2020/2021.

Steigenberger has also joined forces with the other Deutsche Hospitality brands to undertake a highly successful launch of the Safe Travels Campaign. A comprehensive service and safety concept has been rolled out in all hotels and has further raised standards which were already very high. In addition to this, a special Safe Travels rate now provides Steigenberger-guests with maximum flexibility and with an upgrade to the next highest room category.
TESTBILD cooperated with the prestigious market research company Statista to conduct 20,000 customer surveys. These then formed the foundation for the evaluation criteria and for the awarding of seals of quality. The criteria used were accessibility, professional competence, customer orientation, scope of service, communication and willingness to recommend the company in question. Awards were given to 864 companies from 204 branches.
During a broadly based customer survey carried out for the “Service Champions Germany” Awards in 2019, the Steigenberger & Resorts brand fought off competition from more than 3,500 other companies to emerge with a “Service Experience Score” of 78.3 percent. This was the best result recorded.
