Steigenberger Icons - Logo

Only the most legendary Steigenberger hotels are allowed to call themselves “Steigenberger Icons”. By the year 2021, no more than six of our hotels had donned that prestigious title. Their unique stories, unwavering dedication to quality, their rich heritage and international positioning – no wonder they are so iconic. They are Grand Hotels one and all, offering a luxurious, astonishingly unpretentious experience in hospitality.

The Art of Tension

Grandhotel Belvédère, Frankfurter Hof, Grandhotel & Spa Petersberg, Parkhotel Düsseldorf, Grandhotel Handelshof, Steigenberger Wiltcher's – illustrious names with one thing in common: these are our “Steigenberger Icons”. Situated at some of the world’s most coveted destinations, they welcome a sophisticated clientele from all around the globe. Effortlessly blending refined Grand Hotel luxury with a calm and casual nonchalance as well as personalized travel experiences, each with their own unique narratives, all of our icons "break the rules" without breaking with the past.

Extraordinary Details

Each icon has its own inimitable story to tell. Amongst the renowned Grand Hotels, Grandhotel Belvédère in Davos is a legend in its own right. This is also where Arthur Conan Doyle plugged away on some of his much-loved “Sherlock Holmes” novels and where the World Economic Forum was baptized. Frankfurter Hof still reverberates with the sound of the Rolling Stones ricocheting a soccer ball up and down its hallways. Down to today, it has been a venue where famous authors and up-and-coming artists like to mingle. Grandhotel & Spa Petersberg combines an aura of political history with a serene spa and wellness center. Parkhotel in Düsseldorf radiates its glow down Königsallee from its prestigious location at Number 1a, while Grandhotel Handelshof in Leipzig and Steigenberger Wiltcher's in Brussels are at the throbbing nexus of social life in their respective cities.
