Steigenberger Icons - Logo

Only the most legendary Steigenberger hotels are permitted to call themselves “Steigenberger Icons”. As of 2021, no more than six of our houses carry that prestigious title. Their singular stories, unwavering dedication to quality, their rich heritage and international alignment make them truly iconic. They’re all Grand Hotels – that offer a luxurious, surprisingly decluttered hospitality experience.

The Art of Tension

Grandhotel Belvédère, Frankfurter Hof, Grandhotel & Spa Petersberg, Parkhotel Düsseldorf, Grandhotel Handelshof, Steigenberger Wiltcher's – famous names with one thing in common: they are our “Steigenberger Icons”. Situated at some of the world’s most privileged destinations, they welcome a sophisticated clientele from all around the globe. Effortlessly blending refined Grand Hotel luxury with nonchalance and personalized travel experiences with their own unique identities, all of our icons are breaking the rules without breaking the past.

Extraordinary Details

Each icon has its own inimitable story to tell. The Grandhotel Belvédère in Davos is itself a legend amongst the renowned Grand Hotels. It’s also the place where Arthur Conan Doyle worked on some of his beloved “Sherlock Holmes” novels and where the World Economic Forum was founded. The Frankfurter Hof witnessed the Rolling Stones play soccer in its hallways. Until today, it’s a place where famous authors and up-and-coming artists mingle. The Grandhotel & Spa Petersberg combines an aura of political history with a serene spa and wellness center. The Parkhotel in Düsseldorf reigns the Königsallee from its prestigious spot at Number 1a, while the Grandhotel Handelshof in Leipzig and Steigenberger Wiltcher's in Brussels are the center of social life in their respective cities.
