Emissions
We are taking action against climate change. Our aim and objective: to make our company climate-neutral by 2050. In doing so, we are focusing not only on carbon dioxide, but also including all gases that are harmful to the climate.
Natural resources
We are working to use natural resources sustainably – along our entire value-creation chain. Until 2035 we are increasing renewable energy sources step by step. We continuously reduce our energy and water consumption through energy efficiency measures and by leveraging water-saving technology.
Buildings and processes
We are designing both our hotels and our internal processes to be more sustainable. External audits and independent certifications help us in this endeavor. For example, our leasehold and management hotels are certified according to the requirements set out in our CSR management system by means of third-party audits. We have also been a member of the German Sustainable Building Council (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen) since 2019.
